Update on Incident at 3200 Travis May 31, 2007 - Charges have been filed against a suspect in the murder of a woman at 3200 Travis about 6:50 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 The victim, Linda Oaties-Roumo, 49, was beaten, sexually assaulted and strangled to death. The suspect, Jimmy Robert Kimble (b/m, DOB: 8-22-75), is charged with capital murder in the 228th State District Court. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants D.L. Robertson and T.C. Bloyd (retired) reported: Employees arriving to work at an office building at 3200 Travis found the partially nude body of Ms. Oaties-Roumo on a landing near a stairwell in the parking garage. Ms. Oaties-Roumo had wounds to her face and mouth. She was described as a homeless person who had been seen hanging out around a bus stop in the area. DNA evidence obtained in this case was linked to suspect Jimmy Robert Kimble, who is currently serving a robbery sentence in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Coffield Unit in Tennessee Colony, Texas.
