Incident at 9803 West Sam Houston Parkway #2144 May 24, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9803 West Sam Houston Parkway #2144 on Monday (May 21) about 7:45 a.m. The victim, Quincey Thomas, 33, of 418 Villere Street, New Orleans, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D.L. Robertson and Officer A.J. Palos reported: A witness called police after noticing their neighbors sliding door shattered and remembering hearing shots the previous night around 10:45 p.m. The witness became concerned, knocked on Mr. Thomas’ door and inquired into the neighbor’s welfare. The door to apartment #2144 was ajar and the witness walked in only to discover the body of the deceased Mr. Thomas on the floor.
