Incident at 10910 Gulf Freeway May 13, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman at 10910 Gulf Freeway about 8:10 p.m. on Saturday (May 12). The victim, 30, suffered stab wounds to her chest and arm and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Wyers and Officer B.W. Nabors reported: The victim was involved in a verbal confrontation with several residents of the apartment complex. The suspect instigated a fight between the victim and another female and cheered for the victim to beat up the other female. As the victim was fighting with two other females, witnesses reported seeing the suspect approach the victim as he reached for something in his waistband. When the victim got to her feet she said she had been stabbed, then collapsed. The suspect fled the location on foot. He is described as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.
