Incident at 5847 Southington

March 21, 2007 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 5847 Southington about 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday (March 20).

The victim had no visible signs of injury and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity and cause of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Newcomb and R. Odom reported:

The victim’s boyfriend, who lives in a detached apartment behind the residence at 5847 Southington, went to the door and asked someone to call an ambulance because the victim was sick. Paramedics arrived and found the victim deceased in the apartment. Her boyfriend had left the location. There are no obvious signs of foul play at this time.
