Incident at 5911 Southlark
March 3, 2007 -- Houston police
are investigating the shooting of two men at 5911 Southlark about
12:20 a.m. today (Mar. 3).
One victim, Kenneth Robinson, 27, suffered multiple
gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital
where he’s reported in critical condition. A second victim
was also wounded and is reported in stable condition at the same
hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant O. Belmarez and
Officer E. Carstens reported:
Mr. Robinson was shot outside the residence at
5911 Southlark during a home invasion robbery. A second male was
also shot during the robbery. Witnesses described the suspects
as two black males, one of whom had dread locks. The other suspect
was said to be in his mid 20s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and
weighing about 250 pounds.
The suspects were seen leaving in a newer model,
gray Chevrolet Impala.
