Incident at 503 Martin July 21, 2007 - A suspect has been arrested and charged in the fatal stabbing of a juvenile male at 503 Martin about 9:15 p.m. on Friday (July 20). The suspect, Terzandro Terrell James-Baines (b/m, DOB: 6/13/90) is charged with murder in the 182nd State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Jabot Phillips, 15, of 4119 Bluegrass, who suffered a stab wound to the torso. Phillips was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. HPD Homicide Division Officers B.W. Nabors and D.R. Daniel reported: Jabot Phillips and James-Baines were involved in an argument in the parking lot at 503 Martin when Phillips struck James-Baines one time in the face. James-Baines then retrieved a pocketknife from his pants and stabbed Phillips. Several witnesses assisted Phillips until HFD medics arrived.
