Update on Incident at 9401 Harwin July 16, 2007 - **NOTE: The media must pick up a CD copy of the surveillance video at the reception desk in the HPD Homicide Division on the 6th floor of HPD Headquarters at 1200 Travis. Houston police homicide investigators have released surveillance video of two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 9401 Harwin about 9:50 p.m. on Saturday (July 14). The suspects are described as two Hispanic males in their early 20s, 5 feet 2 to 5 feet 6 inches tall with slim to medium builds. The shooter had a very short haircut and was wearing a black T-shirt, long blue jeans shorts and white sandals. He was armed with a black, short barrel revolver. The other suspect was wearing a dark blue or black baseball cap, a black, tan and red striped polo shirt, black jeans and white shoes. He was armed with a black semiautomatic pistol. A CD copy of the surveillance video is available for pickup at the reception desk in the HPD Homicide Division on the 6th floor of HPD Headquarters at 1200 Travis. The two suspects are wanted in the killing of Mohammad Awlad Khan, 37, of 6500 Sandspoint #610, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.H. Roberts and Officer L.K. Lovelace reported: The two suspects, each armed with a pistol, entered the Speedy Mart convenience store at 9401 Harwin. Once inside, one suspect forced an employee to the floor while the other suspect went behind the counter with the cashier. That suspect demanded money, took the bills tray from the cash register and then shot the cashier several times. Both suspects then fled on foot.
