Update on Incident at 1100 West 19th
January 30, 2007 -- Houston
police have learned the identity of a man fatally stabbed at 1100
West 19th Street about 7:05 p.m. on Saturday (January 27), and
are seeking to speak with a possible suspect in the case.
The victim, Maurice Curtis Anderson, 57, of 828
West 17th Street, suffered a stab wound to the chest and was taken
to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he later died.
Homicide investigators want to question a person
of interest, Ronnie Ray Dimmer (b/m, DOB 7-21-63).
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and
Officers K. Rivera and S. Straughter reported:
The victim entered the business at 1126 West
19th Street and told the store clerk he had been stabbed. He collapsed
and was taken to the hospital by HFD.

Ronnie Ray Dimmer is asked to contact the HPD Homicide Division
