Incident at 3719 Canal Street
February 14, 2007 -- Houston
police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3719 Canal
Street about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday (February 13).
The victim, believed to be 20-30 years old, suffered
a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity is pending notification to family members by the
Harris County Medical Examiner’s office.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Huynh and
A. Semmelrock reported:
The victim was driving his vehicle when he abruptly
pulled into the parking lot at 3719 Canal Street. The suspect
exited the passenger’s side door and walked around the front
of the vehicle, to the driver’s side door. The suspect then
fired one shot into the driver’s side window, striking the
victim.
The suspect fled on foot, southbound on North
Milby. At this time, an individual named John David Molina is
wanted for questioning in this case.
