Update on Incident at 4114 Fulton December 20, 2007 - Houston police homicide investigators have determined through forensic evidence that one of two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a woman and wounding of a man at 4114 Fulton about 8:45 p.m. on December 14 was a male found deceased in a nearby neighborhood. The deceased male suspect, Lisbon Wilkins (b/m, DOB: 6-18-80), was found shortly after the shooting. Investigators are still trying to identify a second suspect in the killing of Janette Dominguez, 68, who suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where she later died. A second victim, a security guard, suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. A. Odom and Officer J.L Coffelt reported: Wilkins and another suspect attempted to rob the Fiesta Mart at 4114 Fulton. A security guard was shot while he exchanged gunfire with both suspects. Ms. Dominguez, a patron, was shot several times. Investigators believed the security guard wounded one of the suspects. Both suspects fled the scene in a van that was located a short time later. According to witnesses, a third suspect picked up the two robbery suspects in another vehicle and fled the area. The Harris County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a dead man in a nearby residential neighborhood shortly after the incident. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the male as Wilkins.
