Traffic Incident at 11600 Sabo December 14, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at the 11600 block of Sabo about 12:20 p.m. today (December 14). The victim, a City of Houston Public Works employee, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second Public Works employee was transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital with broken limbs. The deceased’s identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant G.T. Hall and Officer O. Lewis reported: The two victims were on a job site at the above mentioned location, throwing debris into the back of a white Chevrolet truck, when a blue Toyota Camry drove behind the truck, swerved to the right and struck the two workers. The Camry continued and clipped the corner of the city truck. The Chevrolet (city vehicle) was parked with flashers on but no other form of warning device was behind the crew. The driver of the Camry was transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital with no injuries. The investigation is continuing.
