Traffic Incident at 2900 North Eldridge Parkway December 3, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 2900 block of North Eldridge Parkway about 3:35 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 2). The name of the deceased victim, a 17-year-old male, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant S.A. Perez and Officers R. Kessler and E. McClendon reported: The victim was driving a silver Nissan Altima south on North Eldridge Parkway when he lost control due to speed and wet road conditions. His vehicle drove left of the centerline and into oncoming traffic. At that time, a Toyota Rav4 struck the Nissan on the driver side and a Honda struck the Nissan on the passenger side. The Nissan then struck a guardrail and caught fire, killing its driver. Persons in the other two vehicles, five adults and two juveniles, were transported to Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. No signs of intoxicants are believed to be involved in the accident at this time. The investigation is continuing.
