Incident at 10880 Bissonnet

April 21, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10880 Bissonnet about 3:40 a.m. today (Apr. 21).

The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 30s, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant O. Belmarez and Officer T. Andrade reported:

The victim was at a private party at the Reception Hall at 10880 Bissonnet when security guards heard gunshots coming from inside the hall. As those attending the party fled outside, the guards saw the victim inside the hall and noticed he had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers arrived and found the only persons left in or outside the hall were the security guards.

Investigators are asking those who attended the party to contact them at the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
