Incident at 6255 West Airport

September 18, 2006 -- Houston police are trying to identify the body of a man found dead at 6255 West Airport on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at about 10:19 p.m.

According to HPD Homicide Investigators M. Khan and N.T. Ruland, patrol officers dispatched to a shooting call found the unknown black male dead in the alley near building number 14 of the apartment complex. The victim died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The Harris County Medical Examiners' office will attempt to identify the victim. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Houston Police Department Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
