Incident at 1100 Woodard

October 28, 2006 --Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man in the 1100 block of Woodard about 5:05 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 27).

The name of the victim has not been released pending notification to family members. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Officers M.A. Khan and C.T. Hufstedler reported:

The victim was driving a white 2004 Toyota Camry on Woodard when he was shot several times by an unknown suspect. At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects in the shooting.
