Incident at 5900 Elm #574

October 23, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 5900 Elm #574 about 10:10 p.m. on Sunday (October 22).

The male victim, 58, suffered a wound to the chest and was dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification to family members.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cruz and Officer P.T. Yochum reported:

HPD officers responded to a burglary of a residence in-progress call and found the victim deceased inside his apartment. The apartment appeared to have been burglarized.
