Incident at 10001 Westpark

October 8, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 10001 Westpark around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 7).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Olivo and Officer M. Khan reported:

The victim and another man were overheard arguing over drugs in the parking lot for the Sunridge Village Apartments located at 10001 Westpark. The men began fighting and the suspect pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest. The victim began running and collapsed behind a nearby apartment building. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect is described only as a black male whose first name is possibly "Troy", a drug dealer who sells drugs in the same apartment complex. He fled the scene in a white or a two-tone white Lexus sedan.
