Composite Sketch of Suspect Wanted in Kidnapping Sexual Assault

November 21, 2006 -- Houston police Juvenile Division investigators have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the abduction and sexual assault of an
11-year-old girl on November 17.

The composite sketch is that of a black male suspect in his 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 135 to 145 pounds. He has a mustache, beard, a thin build, and appeared to have a tattoo on the upper part of his right hand. The suspect was armed with a black automatic handgun. The composite sketch is attached to this news release.

HPD Officer M.L. Gallagher of the Juvenile Division's Sex Crimes Unit reported:

The victim was walking in the 4300 block of Bennington about 2:45 p.m. last Friday when the suspect grabbed her and forced her into his vehicle. The suspect drove the girl through several small streets and then sexually assaulted her inside the vehicle in the 5200 block of Polly. The girl was released at that location and made an immediate outcry for help to a passerby. The girl was able to contact her mother and police, and was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hermann Hospital.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a newer model, black four-door sedan with peach colored leather interior.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Juvenile Division at 713-731-5335 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
