Incident at 9700 Court Glen

November 17, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9700 Court Glen on November 16, 2006 at 8:40 p.m.

The victim's identity is pending verification by the Medical Examiner's office. He sustained several gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Olivo and Officer M. Khan reported:

The victim was seeing running with another male through the apartment complex, while being chased by three males. The suspect and his accomplices caught up with the victim and his friend and demanded their personal property. The victim did not comply and he was shot several times in the courtyard near building 10.
