Incident at 9006 Iron Springs

November 13, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 9006 Iron Springs about 12:50 p.m. on Sunday (November 12).

The victim's identity and cause of death are pending an autopsy from the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. There were no immediate signs of trauma found to his body, which was in an advanced state of decomposition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W.J. Anthony and Officer D.W. Arnold reported:

A neighbor called police after finding the victim's body in the living room of the residence. The neighbor reported entering the house, through an unlocked door, after not having seen the victim in approximately two weeks and noticing an accumulation of mail in the victim's mailbox. There was no sign of forced entry to the residence.
