Incident at 3801 O'Meara

May 31, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 3801 O'Meara Drive about 2:20 a.m. today.

The victim, identified as Sheila Little, age unknown, of 3900 O'Meara #188 suffered a gunshot wound to her upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.T. Mosqueda and Officer L. Benavidez reported:

Witnesses heard several gunshots coming from the corner of O'Meara Drive at Stella Link about 2 a.m. Several minutes later, the victim was found lying on the grass between a sidewalk and building #1 at the Pine Terrace Apartments at 3900 O'Meara.
