Incident at 212 East Crosstimbers
May 31, 2006 -- Houston police
are awaiting autopsy results in the apparent fatal shooting of
a man found at 212 East Crosstimbers about 11 a.m. on Tuesday
(May 30).
The victim is identified as Marcos Marrero, 48,
of 212 East Crosstimbers. He suffered an apparent gunshot wound
to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers D.S. Vasquez and
H.A. Hernandez reported:
An employee working at a job site at 212 East
Crosstimbers found Mr. Marrero lying in the kitchen area of his
residence. It appeared he was shot in the back of the head and
was dead for several days.
The motive for the shooting is unknown. There
are no known witnesses or suspect(s) at this time.
