Incident at 3400 N. Shepherd
May 29, 2006 --A man is gunned
down as he drank with friends on Sunday, May 28, 2006 at about
11:30 p.m. at 3400 N. Shepherd.
Houston Police Department Homicide Division Investigators
H.A. Chavez and P.J. Guerrero reported that the victim, Cesar
Calderon Orosco and several friends were drinking on the street
in the 3400 block of N. Shepherd in front of their apartment complex.
A white Chevrolet extended cab pick-up truck occupied with several
suspects described as Hispanic males, pulled up to where Orosco
and his friends were drinking.
One of the truck occupants then shot Orosco in
the chest for no apparent reason. Witnesses said the truck sped
away after the shooting.
