Incident at 201 Plaza Verde

May 18, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 201 Plaza Verde about 4 a.m. today (May 18).

The victim is identified as Harold Jackson, 34, of an unknown address. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant P.C. Motard and Officer C.P. Abbondandolo reported:

Mr. Jackson was found lying on the sidewalk of an apartment complex about 6 a.m. Residents reported hearing a gunshot about 4 a.m., however, there are no known witnesses to the shooting. A motive is unknown at this time.
