Traffic Incident at 2300 Barker Oaks

May 17, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 2300 Barker Oaks about 10:15 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2006.

The identity of the victim is pending notification to family members.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant G. T. Hall and Officer S. Martinez reported:

The driver of a vehicle, traveling southbound on Barker Oaks, veered off the left side of the roadway, striking a utility pole and a tree. The impact killed the driver instantly.
