Incident at 3627 Kilkenny

May 16, 2006 -- Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of a man at 3627 Kilkenny about 4 p.m. on Monday (May 15).

The suspect, Roy Edward Davis (b/m, DOB 5/25/81), is charged with murder in the 228th State District Court.

The victim is identified as Eric Clark, 23, of the above address. He sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.H. Roberts and Officer C.Y. Park reported:

According to witnesses, Clark and Davis were inside their residence when they began fighting. After, witnesses separated the two men, Clark left the house and Davis went into his bedroom. Later, when Clark returned, the men began arguing again and Davis produced a gun and shot Clark.
