Incident at 9220 Nathaniel

May 14, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9220 Nathaniel about 11:50 p. m. on Saturday (May 13).

The victim is identified as Dennis Jones, 44, of 811 Arvana. He suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Officers T. Andrade and E. Carstens reported:

The victim, Dennis Jones, was driving through the apartment complex and was shot by an unknown suspect. After the shooting, Jones' vehicle continued moving until it struck another vehicle.
