Incident at 2900 Fuqua
May 9, 2006 -- Houston police
are investigating the death of a man found at 2900 Fuqua about
2:15 p.m. on Monday (May 8).
The identity of the male victim and the cause
of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's
office.
HPD Homicide Division Officers B.W. Nabors and
S.R. Straughter reported:
While searching a vacant field for abandoned
property, a witness discovered the body of a man lying in the
grass. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the
victim dead. Investigators determined that the man's body had
been at the location for several days.
