Incident at 7400 Bissonnet

May 6, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7400 Bissonnet about 2:40 a.m. today (May 6).

The victim is identified as Dennise Omar Lara, 18, of 7502 Imogene. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chin.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.W. McStravick and Officer T.A. Andrade reported:

While sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 7400 Bissonnet, Lara was shot by an unknown suspect. HFD paramedics responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.
