Incident at 5000 South Acres

May 6, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 5000 South Acres about 8:45 a.m. on Friday (May 5).

The identity of the male victim and the cause of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H.R. Hernandez and Officer D.S. Vasquez reported:

While cutting grass in the area, maintenance workers found the victim's body lying face down in a concrete waterway. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
