HPD Seeking Public's Help in Identifying Robbery Suspect

May 2, 2006 -- Houston police robbery investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect responsible for a robbery at a bank located inside a
Randall's grocery store.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 230 pounds. The suspect has brown hair, a scruffy beard and wearing prescription type glasses, a faded black T-shirt and jeans. Both of the suspect's arms were fully tattooed.

HPD Robbery Division Bank Task Force Sergeant J. B. Whitely reported:

On Monday (May 1) at about 12:48 p.m., the suspect walked into the Randall's store located at 600 Kingwood Drive. He handed a note to the teller at the Wells Fargo bank which read, "this is a robbery". The suspect told the teller to place the money on the counter. After getting the money, the suspect walked out of the store and got into a light colored pick-up truck.
