Update on Incident at 600 66th Street
March 22, 2006 -- A man who
was stabbed to death in the 600 block of 66th Street on Tuesday,March
21, 2006 at about 4 a.m. has been identified as 50-year-old Alfredo
Meza of 300 Stiles.
Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeant
D.A. Ferguson and Officer C.L. Scales reported that a citizen
spotted Meza lying on the sidewalk at 600 66th Street at Canal
and then called 911. Meza was bleeding from a stab wound to the
upper torso. HFD transported him to Ben Taub General Hospital
where he was pronounced dead. The motive for the killing is still
unknown.
