Traffic Incident at 10700 South Freeway
March 19, 2006 -- Houston police
are investigating a fatal accident at 10700 South Freeway on March
19, 2006 about 1:35 a.m.
HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant
G.T. Hall and Officer S.M. Johnson reported:
A vehicle was traveling southbound on the South
Freeway when it left the roadway to the right and struck two parked
cars, a pedestrian, a parked ambulance and a parked police car.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of
the striking vehicle was transported to the hospital and possible
charges are pending.
