Update on Incident at 3915 Floyd
March 3, 2006 -- Charges have
been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of
a man and a woman at 3915 Floyd about 12:15 a.m. on December 22,
2005.
The suspect, Larry Joseph Tillman Jr. (b/m DOB
9/18/78), is charged with capital murder in the 262nd State District
Court. The suspect's photo is not available at this time.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Officer T.R. Cunningham
reported:
HPD officers responded to a reported discharging
of firearms and discovered Amandre R. Wilson, 40, of 3915 Floyd
and Joseph M. Liebetreu of 2711 Wild Ridge Drive shot inside of
the residence. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to witnesses, Ms. Wilson and Mr. Liebetreu had just
returned to Ms. Wilson's residence from a formal gathering when
an unknown suspect(s) kicked open the front door and shot them.
Investigators received information on the identity
of a possible suspect leading to the arrest and charges against
Tillman. Investigators are aware that other suspects were involved
in the murders and still are seeking the public's assistance.

In addition to the Crime Stoppers reward, Schepps
Dairy Incorporated is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information
leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible
for this crime.
