Incident at 15200 Rockwell

June 25, 2006 -- Houston Police homicide detectives are investigating the shooting death of a male victim at 15200 Rockwell on June 25, 2006.

Homicide investigators C. Howard and E. Carstens report:

On June 25, 2006, at approximately 3:45 a.m., the victim, whose identity is still to be determined, was driving southbound in the 15200 block of Rockwell when an unknown suspect or suspects began shooting at the victim. The victim appears to have sustained a gunshot injury to the head. It appears this injury caused the victim to lose control of the vehicle and crash into a tree. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
