Incident at 10400 Gateway

June 23, 2006 -- The bodies of two people have been discovered in the 10400 block of Gateway on Friday, June 23, 2006 during the early afternoon.

According to Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeants J. R. McGalin, E. Gonzalez and Officer M. Sosa, HPD received information that the bodies of a male and female were at the location. It is believed the bodies have been there for more than 3 days and an exact cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

The Houston Police Department is working with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement agencies to determine if the victims are connected to cases being investigated by the Fort Bend Sheriff's Office and Humble Police Department. Those cases involve the disappearance of 23-year-old Maria Chrisalee Apparece of Sugar Land and 17-year-old Huy Ngo of Houston.

This investigation is ongoing and focusing on locating possible suspects in the double homicide. Anyone with information about the incident at 10400 Gateway is asked to contact the Houston Police Department Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
