Traffic Incident at 6600 South Braeswood
June 23, 2006 -- Houston police
are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 6600 South Braeswood
about 10 p.m. on Thursday (June 22).
The identity of the deceased victim, a male in
his late 50s or early 60s, is pending verification by the Harris
County Medical Examiner's office.

Martinez reported:
As the driver traveled westbound on South Braeswood,
witnesses observed his vehicle bouncing off the curbs on both
sides of the roadway. The vehicle then hit a tree and came to
rest against a light pole on the north side of the roadway. The
preliminary investigation indicates the driver may have suffered
a medical emergency, such as a heart attack, prior to the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
The investigation is continuing.
