Incident at 2000 Del Norte

July 1, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a person found at 2000 Del Norte about 8:30 a.m. on Friday (June 30).

The identity, gender and cause of death of the victim are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Officer R. Chappell reported:

A truck driver working in the area discovered the decomposing body lying in a ditch. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead. The investigation is continuing.
