Traffic Incident at 3900 Weslow
January 31, 2006 -- Houston
police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 3900 Weslow
about 3:15 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2006.
The victim has been identified as five-year-old
Brian Michel of 6503 Gammage #11. He was transported to Ben Taub
General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant
N. Nguyen and Officers R. Breiding and J. Miller reported:
An individual driving down the street found Brian
lying unconscious in the middle of the street with trauma to his
head. Officers have determined, through physical evidence at the
scene, that a vehicle hit the child. Officers have spoken with
residents of a nearby apartment complex, but have been unable
to locate any witnesses who observed what happened.
