Incident at 10110 Forum Park

February 18, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 10110 Forum Park about 9:25 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 17).

The identities of the victims are pending notification to the next of kin. Both victims were transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where one victim was pronounced dead and the other was being treated for gunshot wounds to the face.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.D. Newcomb and Officer T. Huynh reported:

According to witnesses, three unknown black males confronted the victims in the parking lot of an apartment complex. An argument ensued and the suspects began shooting at the victims. The suspects fled in a four-door white or tan vehicle, possibly a Toyota Camry.

The suspects are only described as black males who wore their hair in dreadlocks and spoke with strong Louisiana accents.
