Incident at 8335 Glen Valley
February 9, 2006 -- Houston
police are investigating the death of a woman found at 8335 Glen
Valley about 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 8).
The victim is identified as Maria Molina, 43,
of 8335 Glen Valley. She appears to have been asphyxiated, however,
the cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County
Medical Examiner's office.
HPD Homicide Division Officers A.J. Palos and
C.Y. Park reported:
Molina 's partially nude body was found on the
floor of her living room with a belt tied around her neck. It
appears that she may have let her attacker in because she was
known to always lock her doors. Investigators found no forced
entry and nothing appears to be missing from the residence.
