Incident at 8901 Bissonnet

February 9, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8901 Bissonnet about 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2006.

The victim has been identified as Daryl Kirk, 24, of 8901 Bissonnet. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he died the following morning.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. S. Mehl and Officer M. Rodriguez reported:

Mr. Kirk was in the 8900 block of Bissonnet waiting at the bus stop when he was shot multiple times by an unknown suspect(s). A 1990s white Pontiac, with a partial license plate of X55, was seen leaving the location of the shooting.
