Traffic Incident at IH 45 at Woodridge

December 23, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at IH 45 southbound at Woodridge on December 22, 2006 at 2:40 p.m.

Lowder reported:

The deceased victim, Jessie L. Urban, 63 was driving a red GMC Sierra pick up truck. He was traveling outbound on the freeway when he struck a gray Ford F-150 pick up, with the left front of his vehicle. Mr. Urban then struck a white Chevrolet 1500 pick up and went into reverse striking the Ford F-150 once again. All three vehicles pulled over to the left shoulder. Mr. Urban appeared to be having a medical condition when he spoke to the driver of the Ford F-150. A few minutes later he was found slumped over the wheel. Medical personnel treated Mr. Urban at he scene and transported him to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
