Incident at 3035 Shady Park

August 28, 2006 -- Houston police are trying to find the person who shot and killed a 75-year-old woman in her home at 3035 Shady Park on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at about 12:41 p.m.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.E. Elliott and Officer FT. Hernandez reported that responding HPD officers found the body of Dorothy Saunders lying on the living room floor of her residence dead from multiple gunshots to the head.

Ms. Saunders' tan 2004 Toyota Corolla, Texas plates T35VTL, appears to be missing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Houston Police Department Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 222-TIPS.
