Incident at 2700 Woodland Park Drive

August 8, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2700 Woodland Park Drive about 9:45 p.m. on Monday (August 7).

The identity of the victim, an Asian male in his 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.K. Peters and Officer A.J. Palos reported:

Residents of the apartment complex heard gunshots and looked outside and observed a gray Mazda sedan driving off. The victim was found lying in the parking space located next to where the gray Mazda was previously parked.
