Incident at 5393 Desoto

August 6, 2006 -- Houston Police homicide detectives are investigating the deaths of an adult male and adult female at 5393 DeSoto on August 5, 2006.

Homicide investigators P. T. Yochum and T. A. Andrade reported:

On August 5, 2006, at approximately 10:50 P.m., the victims, identified as Vincent Williams, b/m 18, and Yolanda Styles, b/f 22, drove to 5393 DeSoto in northwest Houston. A short time after their arrival, Williams became involved in a confrontation with an armed suspect. The suspect shot Williams multiple times and then proceeded to the vehicle and opened fire on Styles. Both Williams and Styles died at the scene.

The suspect, described as a black male, slim in stature (6' 1' tall and 150-160 pounds), in his late teens or early twenties, fled the scene on foot. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with a white logo and black shorts. The investigation into this incident continues.
