Incident at 11402 North Freeway

homicide detectives are investigating the death of a male at 11402
North Freeway, on August 5, 2006.
Homicide investigators M. Sosa Jr. and J. Sosa
reported:
On August 5, 2006, at approximately 1:05 a.m.,
the deceased victim and several individuals were involved in an
altercation outside of the Michoacan Seafood restaurant. An unidentified
Hispanic female suspect produced a handgun and began firing into
the air. For unknown reasons, the suspect aimed the handgun at
the victim and fired once, striking him in the abdomen. The victim
was transported by HFD to Ben Taub Hospital where he later died.
The identity of the victim is being withheld
pending notification of family members. The suspect, described
only as a Hispanic female, was last seen in a dark blue Chevrolet
Suburban SUV, possibly bearing Texas license plate # 70B-PS4.
The investigation into this incident continues.
