Incident at 8100 Maplecrest Drive
April 24, 2006 -- Houston police
are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 8100 Maplecrest
Drive about 4:40 p.m. on Sunday (Apr. 23).
The unidentified victim suffered multiple gunshot
wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending
an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

Hufstedler reported:
Patrol officers were dispatched to a drive-by
shooting call to 8100 Maplecrest and saw a white Buick parked
on the side of the apartment complex. The vehicle was impeding
the flow of traffic on the parking lot of the complex. Officers
checked the vehicle and saw an unknown male slumped over in the
driver's seat. When officers noticed the male was unresponsive,
paramedics were called. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators arrived and determined the male
had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
