Incident at 5801 North Houston Rosslyn #1401

April 21, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5801 North Houston Rosslyn #1401 about 6:15 a.m. on Thursday (April 20).

The victim has been identified as Michael L. Johnson, 27, of 5801 North Houston Rosslyn #1401.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer H. A. Chavez reported:

The victim and a male witness were inside the residence when the witness woke up and found four suspects, described only as three black males and one black female, wearing ski masks and armed with weapons, inside the apartment. The suspects confronted the victim and shot him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The witness sustained a laceration to the head after being struck by one of the suspects.
