Incident at 1602 Enclave Parkway
April 21, 2006 -- Houston police
are awaiting autopsy results on a five-month-old girl who died
Thursday (Apr. 20) after being found unresponsive in her home
at 1602 Enclave Parkway about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday (Apr. 18).
The victim, Brianna Ojogbo, was transported to
Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. Doctors found
severe injuries to her head and one of her arms. She died at the
hospital about 3 p.m. on Thursday.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Ferguson and
Officer R. Moreno reported:
Paramedics arrived at the baby's apartment and
found her unresponsive. She was transported to the hospital and
placed on life support systems with severe injuries. The baby
never regained consciousness. Her parents are unable to explain
the nature of the injuries and are not cooperating with investigators
at this time.
